Support for Learners
All of the Grimsby Institute Group’s buildings and facilities are accessible to disabled students. As well as ensuring physical access we are dedicated to providing all levels of support for example signers, visually impaired equipment, note takers, in-class support and out-of-class support and much more.
Whatever your needs you can be sure that we will support you every step of the way. When you apply to the Institute we will meet with you to discuss your learning support and make sure you get everything you need whilst studying with us.
Additional Learning Support
The Grimsby Institute is dedicated to working with you to ensure we identify and meet all of your learning needs and so you can reach your full potential.
If you have a learning difficulty, a sensory impairment, or a physical disability, we will provide you with all the support you need so you can attend, enjoy and achieve on your course.
When you apply to the Institute we will meet with you to discuss your learning support and if you have a specialist support need our Additional Learner Support team will make sure you get dedicated support.
We will provide help and support in a number of areas, including:

- Autistic disorders such as Asperger's Syndrome?

Little Stars Day Nursery
Little Stars Day Nursery is based at the Institute’s main campus at Nuns Corner and offers childcare from three months to school age. Our highly - qualified enthusiastic and friendly team will ensure your child's individual care and offer advice and guidance on all aspects of their development.
The nursery offers flexible sessions to support you and your family whilst you’re studying to help you to fit learning into your life.
