Free Level 2 training with the Grimsby Institute
To show our commitment to learning, we're proud to offer you the best experience possible and our Level 2 Distance Learning courses are now completely free of charge.
Unfortunately , we are no longer able to subsidise Level 3 Courses and these will now cost £811 plus a registration fee. You may however be eligible for a fee waiver if you meet certain eligibility criteria. Please contact our Finance Department for further information. Some courses may have additional costs to cover materials. Any equipment or material costs will be drawn to your attention at the time of enrolment and we make every attempt to keep additional costs down; in most cases there is no extra charge.
Do I need to bring anything with me to induction?
Yes, you will need to bring a valid Bank Debit Card.
Courses are only free to people who have lived in England for the past 3 yrs, are aged 19 years or over and are not currently accessing any other government funded training.

19+ discretionary Learner Support Fund
Learners who meet eligibility criteria, with a household income of less than £21,000, may receive help towards travel, childcare, meal allowances and hardship.
There may be help towards course fees for learners who are not fully funded. This bursary fund can not be used to pay for essential kit and equipment or trips. 19+ Discretionary Learner Support Fund Application
24+ Loans Bursary Fund
Learners who are aged over 24, on a level 3 or 4 course, who have taken out the Advanced Learning loan to pay their fees, may be able to apply for the 24+ Loans Bursary Fund which can help with the cost of Learning Support and for those who meet eligibility criteria.
Learners who have taken out the 24+ Advanced Learning Loan and who have a household income of less than £21,000 may also receive support with travel, childcare,meals and hardship to help support them whilst on their Programme of Study 24+ Bursary Fund Application
