Although there are no formal entry requirements for this course due to the nature and course delivery of distance learning we require all applicants to hold a minimum of English Literacy Level 1 or equivalent.

The qualification is ideal for learners who currently work in or are looking to work in the health care sector. It is also suitable for anyone who wishes to learn more about how to care and manage different types of diabetes for their own personal reasons, or how to recognise the symptoms of diabetes.
Each candidate is required to give written responses to a work booklet either handwritten or to complete the booklet using an electronic template.
You will be required to submit 2 written assessments each taking 4 weeks to complete.
