Level 2 Principles End of Life Care

This qualifiction will help learners identify, develop and formally recognise their knowledge and skills surrounding the care of patients, friends and families during this sensitive time of life. This course will take 12 weeks to complete and consists of 3 written assessments.

Whilst it is an ideal qualification for those who are already employed within the healthcare or adult social care sector, it may also be suitable for anyone who is caring for a loved one during their final stages of life.

This course is currently being subsidised by the college so that you can enrol for the course free of charge.

Courses are only free to people who have lived in England for the past 3 yrs, are aged 19 years or over and are not currently accessing any other government funded training.
Please note there is a non-completion fee of £85 if you have to be withdrawn from the course.

  • Unit 6: Understanding loss and grief in end of life care

Although there are no formal entry requirements for this course due to the nature and course delivery of distance learning we require all applicants to hold a minimum of English Literacy Level 1 or equivalent.
